Effect on Jio and Telecom Market

The comparative analysis of the Indian telecommunication market allowed for finding out that the increasing market share of Jio affects the market negatively because it has monopolistic tendencies. However, this is reverse now as the government has now intervened and BSNL has slowly and steadily started gearing up. BSNL added 2. 75 million customers most of which are always porting from other networks. It was so preceded by over 1,000 new 4G towers and, more perhaps inflammatory, assurances that 4G would soon be available everywhere.

Indigenous Technology as an Aspect of National Security

BSNL has also emphasized on domestic sourcing in its Rs 15,000 crore deal with Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) to Vedere its 4G data is not outsourced. Government now has decided to develop and set up the use of Made in India 4G and 5G technology to protect the country and be more independent on foreign technology.
